Olive Oil
Best for: Dry, mature, and normal skin
Rich in antioxidants and healthy fats, olive oil helps protect the skin’s natural barrier while delivering deep hydration. It’s especially helpful for smoothing rough, flaky patches and nourishing skin prone to dryness - ideal for elbows, knees, and seasonal dryness.
Note: While olive oil is generally well tolerated by most adults, it may not be suitable for infants or very sensitive skin. Its high oleic acid content can disrupt the natural balance of a baby’s delicate skin barrier and may lead to dryness over time.
Coconut Oil (Unrefined - solid)
Best for: Dry, rough, cracked skin
A rich, solid oil that deeply moisturizes and seals in hydration. Its natural antimicrobial properties make it ideal for very dry or irritated areas like elbows, heels, and hands - not recommended for acne-prone skin, as it can clog pores.
Fractionated Coconut Oil (liquid)
Best for: All skin types, especially oily and acne-prone
A lightweight, liquid version of coconut oil that absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. Non-comedogenic and ideal for facial oils, serums, and sensitive skin. Also a popular carrier oil for essential oils.
Castor Oil
Best for: Dry, sensitive, mature
Castor oil is rich in ricinoleic acid and penetrates deeply into the skin, delivering moisture and nutrients to the inner layers. Its anti-inflammatory and healing properties make it ideal for dry, irritated, or aging skin.
Jojoba Oil
Best for: Oily, combination, acne-prone, sensitive
Balances oil production because it mimics skin’s natural sebum. Non-comedogenic and soothing.
Sweet Almond Oil
Best for: Sensitive, dry, irritated
Light and gentle with skin-soothing properties; easily absorbed and non-irritating.
Avocado Oil
Best for: Very dry, mature, damaged
Rich in vitamins A, D, and E, this deeply nourishing oil supports healing and elasticity.
Rosehip Seed Oil
Best for: Mature, acne-prone, combination
High in linoleic acid and vitamin A. Lightweight, promotes skin regeneration, and reduces scarring and sun damage.
